Welcome to the 2010 U.S. Coast Guard ESO Symposium Web Page. This year’s event promises to be a time of outstanding professional development for   the Coast Guard ESO Community as well as a time to build and strengthen relationships with our partner colleges.

2nd Annual CG Institute Invitational

Chess Tournament

The Coast Guard Institute will coordinate the Second Annual Coast Guard Institute Invitational Chess Tournament.  Tournament games will be played online through Chess.com (on the member's own time and computer of course). 

If you are interested in being a part of this tournament you must email IT2 Casey Speerschneider Casey.D.Speerschneider@uscg.mil by 16 July.  The tournament is open to any Coast Guard employee.  The final match will be played Wednesday 25 August at the ESO Symposium.

Running concurrently with the Symposium on Wednesday, August 25 is the College Education Fair, likely to be the largest fair of its kind in Oklahoma. Working closely with local high school guidance counselors, and our college partners the 2010 ESO Symposium is inviting all high school students along with their families to visit our exhibit hall to learn about the many opportunities available from local and national colleges and universities.

Admission is free.
